"Coexistence"

In this series, I am exploring the ways in which natural and industrial spaces intersect and intertwine. Inspiration for these paintings comes from having resolved an internal conflict I had with the two opposite environments. In the past, my introverted relationship with growing up in an urban setting created tension and conflict within me, and the need to escape for open and quiet spaces became vital. However, after my last exploration in Directed Studies, I became fascinated by and more focused on the artistry found in the two worlds. I now see the beauty of their coexistence.
